    It really is a personal choice. Go to the Convert section and read the AVI to VCD guides, and see what looks the easiest and most promising to you.

    TMPGEnc, Cinemacraft Encoder (CCE) and Mainconcept are all popular here. Some are more user friendly, some are faster than others and then there's cost to consider, all will produce good quality video.
