    Hi
    I would like to know when you installed a codec on a computer, if there
    any importance if you installed the codec before or after you installed a software that will read the video file ? Or it's not important.

    Shouldn't matter, just do a restart after installation.

    Computer, or the codec's won't be registered properly (usually).
