when i convert from an avi file to svcd, the audio quality always goes down.
i use virtual dub to extract the audio and save it as a wav file, but the new sound always ends up sounding scratchy, especially when loud things happen in the episode.
i played the new wav in winamp, and the quality had gone down then, so it is not happening when i am converting it and the video to svcd.
i use the settings in the guide on here, audio being set to no compression, full processing mode, and the conversion sample rate changed to 44100.
