Well, that depends how you cut the movie in half

Not much. Are we talking TmpGenc mpeg-tools merge&cut feature?

It would, thats what TmpGenc is for

What is your final destination? Is it VCD, SVCD or DVD ?

Did you cut the avi in half or just encode the 1st half using the source range feature in tmpgenc ?

If you cut the avi in half simply repeat what you did with the first avi.

If you used the source range feature in tmpgenc simply change the source range to encode the 2nd half.

    Whaats the problem here ?

  11. from what i can see u have cut a whole movie somewhere in the middle .
when u saved your first half of the film did u save it as another file name.?

if u did not - then the whole film has been overwritten by ur first cut .
if u saved it as another file name then its ok . open tmgenc merge and cut open the whole film again. set the start time in the middle( the end from the first half of the film and set end at the end of the film save output file with a different name than the original whole film - now u have ur second half or the film.

    good luck[/code]
