I have ripped a home DVD to a quicktime mp4 file. I was wanting to edit in iMovie 4, but the file is over the 2GB limit for individual clips. Is there a program that can split the file in to smaller pieces other than QT Pro. Thanks in advance!

i hope this is related. (my first post) mpeg2works allows you to split files in half or to fit a cd or dvd, buy how do i trim mpegs. i converted a VOB to MPG and want to split it as it contains 2 short films and quicktime pro won't let me do it. this is driving me crazy because there is probably a simple answer. thanks in advance for any help!
