Hello,
A friend sent me an artical regarding Philip is trying to developing DVD9 media in the + form and also a DVD9 burner is coming out soon? Can some one confirm this?

There are several companies developing this technology, you will find several topics on this subject. Sony is shooting for the first quarter of this year, others are shooting for July.
