I successfully made a video using Vegas Video, rendered this to an AVI, converted to MPG using TMPgenc and burned a DVD using Sonic MY DVD LE. I have since deleted the large AVI file but still have the MPG file. I tried to make another disk using my DVD and it says it needs the AVI file.
Is there anything Ican do to create a DVD?
Thanks,
jim

one way to to install a trial copy of TMPGenc DVD Author (trial good for 15 days, $68 to buy) which can use your existing MPG file to burn another disk. You would have to make fresh titles, but it's a relatively simple app to use with a good help file.
Another way would be to simply copy the first disc you already have burned. If you already have either Nero or Roxio, there should be a copy utility in their packages. IF no, then you might look at CloneDVD - a trialware app that can copy/burn disk copies.
