Hi,
A month ago I bought I bought a PHILIPS DVDRW416 writer to create my own DVD's. But till now without any luck. I can create DVD but they won't playback on my PHILIP DVD763SA. I used DVDXCOPY and CLONEDVD after ripping a dvd with Smartripper. The discs I used are of the brand PHILIPS. According to the specifications of PHILIPS the 763SA must be compatible with +R/+RW standard. That's why I bought their writer. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? Or what program, settings etc. I must use to ensure compatibility?
The strange thing is that -r disc will play on the player. This is also according the specifications. I find this a strange situation, because PHILIPS supports +r/+rw standard and no -r/-rw standard!
