This is a little off topic, but someone here may know the answer.
Last year I downloaded a application that created an icon for a quicktime movie based on the frame one paused the movie at. The icon became that frame with sprocket holes along the sides. I used it once, and now I've forgotten its name. I probably have it archived on CD, but without a name the odds of my finding it are slim.

I'm answering my own question. The program that does this is a contextual menu item call QuickplayCM.
It's available at http://www.pixture.com/macosx.php
I sort of thought this was what I had used, but it wasn't until i downloaded it again that I recalled the keyboard command that made the icon.
