It will be very interesting to see what this does to the situation in Iraq at the moment.
It is good that he has finally been captured so that he can face the charges relating to human rights abuse of the Iraqi, Iranian people and anyone who opposed his rule.

I think he will be tried in an Iraqi court system however due to security risks he would be imprisoned in a military prison/detention centre or in a foreign jail.
Even though they haven't released the details yet I would already suspect they have removed him from the country.
