  1. Using DVDShrink, I re-authored a foreign movie and took only the movie. It worked fine!! Next I used Nero (DVD-Video) and copied all the files to the video_ts directory. The message states that VTS_01_1.VOB is greater than 2GB and that the ISO format cannot write this, only the UDF format can.

I then tried DVD-UDF instead of DVD-Video in Nero and all seems to work except that it says it is not compliant to play on DVD-Players.

Any help for a newbie would be greatly appreciated!

You shouldn't have a VOB greater than 1 GB. Did you rip the movie first with DVDDEcryptor? Don't uncheck the box that says 1GB VOBs.

You shouldn't ever have this problem unless you pre-rip the movie and force it into a non-standard VOB pattern.

  3. Thanks for the info,

Within DVDShrink 3.0 Beta, in preferences, the prompt which says "split VOB files greater than 1GB" was not checked. I'm going to check this and try again.

    Thanks for your help.
