...or maybe I have the issues.
I downloaded the trial of dvdlab and started following the SVCD on DVD
guide. I got the mpeg file off of the VCD (Speleology: Karst of the Ozarks) like it said, it imported them and demultiplexed them, but when I went to add chapters it shows that the movie I imported is now only 18 minutes long when it should be more like 56 minutes. Plus, the video only shows up as blank green (although I do think it warned me that dvdlab could not play vcd files).
Can anyone give me some pointers as to why my 56 minute video is showing up as 18 minutes...? What might I be doing wrong?

If you got it off a vcd, then it is mpeg1 video. DVD video is mpeg2. SVCD has mpeg2 video also.

I know what kind of video it is, what I do not know is why a 56 minute video cuts down to 18 minutes when imported.

Make sure you are using the latest build of DVD-Lab, which is v1.3beta9.
The blank green in the preview is normal for non-DVD compliant files.
Also, make sure you're doing something similar to the way the lordsmurf guide is showing in this thread.
