  1. When I convert 23.976fps AVI file to NTSC DVD the time of the movie is diferent from the original (about 5-8sec. less). With PAL DVDs everything is OK. Any suggestions?

    You mean
    23.976 AVI -> 23.976 MPEG2 is different
    25 AVI -> 25 MPEG2 is the same ?

    Check the 23.976 frame rate with Vdub
    and also see if there are bad frames

  3. I mean when I load 23.976 AVI file in TMPGenc DVD NTSC Project the resulting M2V file is "time" shorter that the original AVI file (about 5-8sec.)

    Example - AVI file - time 1:30:29:500, M2V file - time 1:30:24:280.

    It is not a big problem but if I deside to insert subtitles, these 5-8sec. are big problem
