  1. I was told that I could use Virtual VCR as I would a normal VCR for doing TIMED RECORDING but I see NO settings for such a purpose. Can you help with this OR is there another cheap or free program that I can use to do timed ANALOG capture ? Thanks.

    Try VirtualDUBVCR, from here....

    It's free and you can set it to record just like a VCR, the only thing i haven't figured out yet is why it won't 2 or more programmes when the timer is set.

  3. I use Virtual VCR for scheduled / timed captures all the time. You use the Windows task scheduler. Its all explained here: http://www.digtv.ws/html/virtualvcr/general.php.
