Hi,
I have recently purchased the USB Mpeg4 Grabber GA-VD207 and it seems to be a great USB device to make Mpeg4 DivX vids!
But there is something i really need help with!
I can record a video file but the software that comes with it does not appear to have an 'Timed Recording' Option. For example, i can start the recording, and i want it to stop 2 hours later automatically.
Is there any software that i can use with the USB Mpeg4 Grabber to set the recording length or even a scheduled recording time?
Here is a direct link to the Taiwanese manufacturer, but my requestes for email support has gone un-answered.
Thanks

The device might be an issue , but you could try the following :
Media Portal
GB-PVR
Got All Media
SesamTV Media Center , really works well on lower ended systems .
You may even be able to write a script in autoit , which will run the task when required via the program that originally came with it . -
Thanks Bjs,
I have GB-PVR on my HTPC and previously used it with my PVR350. It did a reasonably good job back then for scheduled recordings.
I will give it a go again with the Mpeg4 Grabber.
Thanks for the tip!
Plenty of Foxtel content i want to back up off the Foxtel-IQThanks
