  1. Hi,

    Hope im posting this in the right forum...

    I've got a JVC TH-A9R.
    I was curious about what DVD-r/rw can be played on this one...
    I found it... and read all comments etc.

    Well ... i've tried 2 types of +r dvd's (platinum and imation) ... both didn't work.
    What i don't get is why some ppl. can play + and some don't ...
    The info isn't the same !?

    As far as i get the info, my best changes are that i take a nashua -r disc and use this ?

  2. There are a lot of variables that go into making DVD, and a lot of places for things to go wrong in the process. It could be the burning software does not have the proper settings, the encode might be slightly off, the media you are using is not acceptable to the player, the authoring software may be doing something wrong.

    Give us some more information on your process and what you are using and someone might be able to see the needle in the haystack.

  3. I'm new at this, but i've got a new NEC 1300a.
    I'm going to try and burn a DVD .. so i checked what my DVD Home Cinema Set is able to play...

    This way i say all the comments and got confused ...
    I'm not sure what type to use (+ or - ) and which brand ...
