Capturing NTSC VHS on european system

Hi!

I live in europe and have a Hauppauge PVR TV-card.

I have a VCR with NTSC playback that works fine connected to a TV,
but I'm having problems connecting it to my computer. I've tried every
source setting (NTSC-M, NTSC-Japan, PAL B,D,G,H,I, PAL-M, and PAL N).
Still no better. I've tried to connect with composite cable and ordinary
antenna cable from the VCR, still no better. I've emailed hauppauge but
they could'nt help me but the agreed that this was a wierd problem, and
they said that it's _supposed_ to work to capture NTSC with this card.

I use vdub to capture, I've also tried Ulead Mediastudio Pro 6.0. And of
course, hauppauge's own software... None of them work.

Does anybody know a way to get around this prob? Would be really
thankful for help.

NTSC on PAL VCR is PAL60 - nothing else.
You can use DScaler to tweak a WinTV card and AVI-IO or VDub to capture into NTSC format.
