    Hello,
    I was wondering, what is the benefit of resampling the audio stream to mpeg? Wil it harm to skip it and leave it as it is in the SVCD.

    you can try skipping to see if your dvd player will accepts the result. Most don't as 48khz is the dvd standard. There is no advantage therefore other than achieving more compatability.
