    hi is there any ways or tools to make streaming videos like asf/wmv seekable? i tried using asftools but that didn't work. all it did was enable the seekbar but when i try to fast foward, the movie just stalls and does go to that part. thanks

    not really no
    if it's in mpeg4 or divx format then you could use asftools to extract it to a avi file - then you could do whatever you want
    however if it's using one of the windows media video ( WMV ) codecs then you will still be able to extract it but nothing would be able to open the file
    because the WMV codecs are directshow while AVI codecs are video for windows.
