Hi forum, I am a new here,

I only know very basic things about video, by searching videohelp and google

Currently I have some video files download from Internet, the file is .asf format, the video size is 320x240 because the video file is horse racing, the size of 320x240 it didn't clear enough for a good look of those horses

I have try TMPGEnc and Window Media Stream Editor to trun the file to .wmv or .mpg file format, but the size is still in 320x240, didn't better

May I know which software can convert the mpg,wmv or asf file to better viewable resolution? like a clear 720x480 screen or higher..

I am not sure is this call 'convert video' or 'render video'? am I asking the right question?

    thanks

Garbage In Garbage Out. You can't do much to improve crappy video, maybe some deblock filters and such but try find a better source first.

Thanks for reply, but all I have is that size only, and the turf club didn't sell video out anymore
I brought a hardware 'Creative Video Editor' but it didn't help in offline convert?

Any conversion will reduce the quality. Converting and changing the resolution, won't make the picture any better. The best picture you will ever get is with the files exactly as they are right now.

To make better, higher quality files, you need a high quality source. As you don't have the source files, there isn't anything you can do to make them better.
