TV2000 XP: How do you create SVCD from your captured output

How do you create SVCD from your captured file? I am not able to select even 480x480. Is it something wrong with my card?

I think it is something to do with the TV2000 Driver (supplied with the card). I am not able to use the other driver "btwin*" (Getting Blue screen of Death).

Even Virtual Dub doesnt accept more than 320x240 (I tried custom format too). Getting Error 418: Unsupported Video Format.

Have you downloaded the updated drivers? I do not know exactly what card you are using, but I have a WinTVGo, and it captures at 480 x 480 with no problems.

I am using WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe card. (http://www.leadtek.com.tw/multimedia/winfast_tv2000xp_deluxe_1.shtml). I dont see any updated driver on their website. I bought this card couple of weeks back. I am also waiting for the response for the Tech Support.

cap at 640x480 to any avi format, then encode and resize to svcd with tmpgenc.

iuVCR will allow you to set a custom capture resolution, might be worth trying, though it doesn't do mpeg1/2 captures so you'll have to convert it afterwards.
