  1. I have installed this card before and it worked fine but…now
I get FM with sound/audio perfect and also a great picture but with no sound/audio from tv tuner.
I get just a quick static then nothing when tv tuner is activated.
I have tried both original and updated drivers and updated application software.

The tv card is connected to the motherboard via the aux connection and setup in the application as aux for sound output and record.

Operating System-- Windows XP Pro SP2
    Motherboard-- ASUS P4S800D-X
On Board Sound-- SoundMAX Digital Integrated Audio
AGP Video-- ATI 9250 128 AGP Video Card
Quad Sound System-- Tuner + 4 Speakers
Comcast Digital Cable Box-- Only Coax Cable Connectors

Cable to Cable Box to TV 2000/PC
PC Video Card to LCD Monitor

    Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks

  2. UPDATE: I took the supposed cable converter box out of the loop. Cable goes directly to Winfast card. 13 channels are good with sound?
But... how can I get the rest of the channels now?

"how can I get the rest of the channels now?" -- Do you mean you only have 13 channels that you can view? If so, it sounds like you might need to change some settings in the Configuration screen, and re-scan for all the cable channels.

  4. Just to let everyone know and I should have remembered," Reboot & Try Again". All that was needed was to reset/reboot the cable box everything working now.
Thanks to those for the help.

Glad to hear it was just "operator error".

Ok... now that this little operator error is taken care of maybe I can get a little help with Recording/Capturing audio when I record a video from tv.
Checked audio settings as before ( Set to Aux on both), get great picture as before but no recorded audio.

    Again any help is appreciated!
