  1. I know that almost no one is going to be able to help me, but its worth a shot, i have a fairly powerful system, 1ghz athlon, 768mb pc 133 ram, and an ati radeon card with 64mb ddr running windows xp. every time i try any dvd ripping i run into the same problem. when it comes time to encode .vob->.mpeg my system just freezes, no warning, no messages whatsoever, just a total system halt. i can't figure out what it is, please, any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. are there any programs i can try other than TMPGEnc or DVDx or flask? anyone with a similar problem? please, i'm desperate here, haha
