OK, I've been experimenting with 2 programs for menu making, each has a problem. Firstly DVD-Lab:
I want my menu to be a little video clip that plays and stops on the last frame (i.e doesn't loop) then when the video finishes playing I want my menu items to appear. How can this be done? Had a browse of some motion menu tutorials with this program, none mentioned how to delay the appearance of the items.
Secondly, DVD Menu Studio:
When making the subpictures I want to use some of the little arrow icons and such in the program. But when I convert them to subpicture the texture vanishes... I can't seem to make them stay textured when they are subpictures. Why?

How about putting a short clip as "first play" and then following that
with a menu which has the last frame of the clip as background. -
