I was wondering what it would take to capture a Pal Video. I have an ADVC-100 so that is not a problem. Would I have to purchase a VCR just for pal or will my normal one play it?
Thanks in advance,

hello
Well, it depends upon your VCR capabilities. Normally, VCR selled in non NTSC contries play either NTCS and the native land format. I was told that american VCRs donīt usually play another format different of NTCS ( cause itīs cheaper build a one mode device and itīs useless for general usage something that can play PAL or SECAN tapes ... cause almost everything is made in american format ).
Mayībe it isnīt the case. I suggest you to take a good look at the deviceīs specifications at the VCR userīs manual.
thanks
