Capture a PAL VHS

I was wondering what it would take to capture a Pal Video. I have an ADVC-100 so that is not a problem. Would I have to purchase a VCR just for pal or will my normal one play it?

Well, it depends upon your VCR capabilities. Normally, VCR selled in non NTSC contries play either NTCS and the native land format. I was told that american VCRs don´t usually play another format different of NTCS ( cause it´s cheaper build a one mode device and it´s useless for general usage something that can play PAL or SECAN tapes ... cause almost everything is made in american format ).
May´be it isn´t the case. I suggest you to take a good look at the device´s specifications at the VCR user´s manual.
