AUTO update with firewalls/ MENU problems

I hav the plus version of the program and it works great

Problem 1

But using a router and its firewall function - everytime i try to upgrade from the menu, the program closes and I'm told that I'm not connected to the internet.

Anyone solved this problem or know a away around it?

I've spoken to Badger and its suppose to update through port 80 http.

I've tried updating with IE running but i get the same result - help.

Problem 2

Anyone produced any guides for the menu yet?

I did 2 movies with the menu - which just closed after editing the names.

After the conversion - the dvd folders were missing video_ts.BUP file?? when i try to burn with nero

The files i get are:

video_ts.IFO
vts_01_0.BUP
vts_01_0.IFO
vts..01...vob

vts_02_0.BUP
vts_02_0.IFO
vts_02...vob

Problems 1:

People with proxies/firewalls are having an issue with the update functionality. To that end i've set up a mechanism for manual updates:
