vdub help

I kno u guys get this question a lot, but ive ran out of ideas. Ive searched the forum and done what u guys have instructed to do. when i try to decompress audio with full prosesing mode, I GET: no audio decompressor can be found to decompress the source audio format. ive ran gspot22 it says i have all the codecs video and audio. the codec name is ac3 (0x2000) Dolby Laboratories, Inc. and the codec stat is AC3 from AVI Xform and cyberlink audio decoder which is misconfiged. PLEASE help me. here a link of the detailed info from gspot

vdub wont convert ac3 or extract the wav.
extract the wav with http://www.divx-digest.com/software/avi2wav.html
rename the wav extention to ac3 then convert it to wav or mp3 with HeadAC3he.
if you want the avi to have mp3 audio,just join the mp3 and avi.
if your converting to (s)vcd take the final wav and add it to TMPGEnc

Goldwave will extract AC3 audio and convert to wav all at once. Just load the avi in Goldwave then save.
