  1. Hello:

    1. Does anyone know of a way to fix bad frames in virtualdub without deleting them????

    2. What does frame masking mean?

    3. Does anyone know of some other program besides virtualdub that does a good job of fixing bad/broken frames??

    Thanks,

    Comet

    1. You can try Divfix (Tools section). It's never worked for me though.

    2. Masking means that those frames (bad and undecodable) are marked for deletion when you save the Avi.

    3. Using VirtualDub-MP3 is more of a manual method, you scan then delete the frames yourself. I think it works better and I've found that it deletes fewer frames. Here's the guide: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=142555
