  1. Hello, I'm new. I am *attempting* to use a program called Click to DVD to burn dvds. Anyways, I converted my AVI movie file to MPG, but I am still getting the annoying : "Cannot import the following file. The file is not supported or the file is corrupted. cbebop.mpg"

I successfully converted it, so what's wrong?? I hope I'm not doing something obviously wrong, but I've never done this before . Thanks in advance!

Are you converting it to MPEG-1 or MPEG-2?

DVD has to be MPEG-2 720x480 or 352x420.

I am pretty sure about this, but don't treat this as absolute, yet...

    Use what works for you...

  3. Let's see, it is "DVD NTSC (MPEG-2 352x480 29.97fps CBR 2200kbps, Layer-2 48000Hz 384kbps)". So I guess it is MPEG-2, but is 352x480 not 420.. Will that make a difference??

Actually it is 352x480, not 420.

I would assume it is the burning sortware then.
    Use what works for you...

It seems like your authoring program only likes a resolution of 720x480. Try using another burning program such as Ulead DVD Movie Factory to burn your CVD's (352x480) and DVD's (720x480).
