  2. No one wants to help you, but in the spirit of this forum I'll lend a hand. Connect your purple A/V cable to the back of the card. It only goes in one way. Be carefull with the pins, they are tough but still can be bent without care. The connector you want is fartherest away from the monitor connector. Connect the outputs for video and audio from your VCR to the pruple cable. You have another cable which is smaller than the purple one and is black. Connect it to the back of the card on the connector next to the monitor connecor. Take the small micro audio lead and put it into the line-in connector on your audio card so you can hear what you are recording. It the captured video doesn't have sound go to the ATI Multimedia center select TV then select the small box with a check mark. It takes you to options. On the display screen go through initialization. Make sure the audio is set to line-in. Likes to change on its own sometimes. After that is done then selecxt the video tab on the options screen. Select the type of video connection you have. Composite for RCA type connections or S-Video for S-Video type connections. I think that is everything. Are you really having problems setting up or am I misunderstanding the question? If you are having problems setting up I hope this helps, but most of the information is in the 2 blue covered manuals you received when you bought the card. Let me know if I'm off track.

  3. RTFM. (no offense, but the people here aren't a paid tech support line. they don't want to hold your hand through everything if you dont' even try on your own).

make sure you use MMC 7.1 and the DVD 4.1 update.

most of the other info you can find if you search the forums.
