    could anyone tell me how to convert a .WMV file to vcd. i have several movie clips that i want to convert. thanx in advance

    did you try renaming the .wmv files to .asf files?

    Another tip: TMPGEnc will open WMV files (without renaming) if in the Environmental Settings -> VFAPI plug-in, the 'DirectShow Multimedia File Reader' has the highest priority.
