Best all round Multimedia/TV Viewing software....

I have a ATI AIW 128 Pro. I know it's an old card but it works and ive had for ages....

What i want to know is... Is there a good all round multi media (ie mpeg1, 2 + 4) package that also plays TV.

I've tried WINDVD Recorder which seems to do what i want but is so slow at starting up.

Even tried Windows XP Media Edition, (sounded just what i wanted) but didn't support my tv card.

Just want something to watch TV, not capture, but to play divx movies and mp3's all in one, and load as quickly as Media player 9 does.

I have a XP1800+ system with 2x40gb ata133 in a raid config. so machine should be fast enough.

any advice please reply.

As far as I know there's no application that plays videos and allows you to watch TV.
PowerVCR2 and winDVR2 are good capturing applications.
They are also good viewing programs and load quickly.
