  1. I currentley use the soft called "Ultra Video Converter", it seem to have in-common the same layout-GUI as "Allook Video Splitter" thath allso convert, the common issue i experience with both of them is thath thei seem to like to turn the output screen upside-down, i have not found any convert-settings thath kind of says thath "we will convert your file down perfect with 500 mb with minimal qualite loss but you will pay by letting us turn your world upside down just to be pain in the arse"
so if you dont know what settings theses soft expect their user to see, then you can tell me if its possible to switch the screen right way again on the output? perhaps with media player classic ore some other tool? i dont know

and perhaps you even will tell me thath the screen turns around like this if i have wrong combiantions of codecs installed, and thath affects this programs to perform wrong? ..ore you will not

I chosed Xvid as codec for my files (on both)

They sounds like crap. What exactly are you trying to do? What is your source video? Convert avi, mpeg, dvd to avi xvid? Then try autogk.

Darn i forgott to tell thath the source have in filename "DVD NTSC AC3", videoinspector calls it MPEG2,
the file is on 600 mb wich i find to mutch for 18 minutes of just..little extra good VHS qualite

my standard converter got it down to around 130 mb no matter if i choose the standard AVI or MPG1-2 alternatives (with divx or xvid) wich feels like a acceptable size, the problem whas just thath the perfect output freezed up when trying playing it forward later, clearley my output creation wasnt so good, it however avoided this forward-play-issues with the crap converter i named in first post, but then the screen whas flipped around instead

so what codec etc shall i choose in autogk? to just avoid strange hang-ups? for this file (under 200 mb would be nice)
