Hello all;
When I was reading a guide on configuring TMPGEnc, first thing that was highly recommended was to set the "Stream type" to ES (video-only) and that the audio should be processed seperately by some other software for best results (i.e. coverted to either PCM or AC3 and then authored).
I was wondering what are thoughts about this notion! If it is a good practice, then how do I process the audio portion?(i.e. what software to use to extract the Audio from the AVI file and convert it to AC3 or PCM)Also will there be any sync issues with this method?
