  1. Hi folks.

I have been using TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 to create DVD menus, trim my MPG, AVI and M2V files and burn the finished edits to DVD. I currently have a VOB file with DTS audio that I'd like to edit and burn to DVD. Unfortunately TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 cannot handle DTS audio. Is there a similar product that can create a DVD but that also maintains the DTS audio? I have demuxed the VOB to M2V and DTS streams but cannot find a tool that will enable me to author a DVD with DTS like TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 does.

When I say that I trim the video files, I mean that TMPGEnc DVD Author 3 can hide portions of my video files that I do not want to be in the final DVD.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Roberta

  2. Do you mean "AVCWare AVCHD Converter"? It doesn't support DTS.

demux the dts file from the video file u have with pgcdemux...create the dvd as u regularly would with tmpg...except...in the audio portion, don't use any audio...finish with the encode

use muxman to mux audio back into the newly created vobs u made with tmpg

  4. hi,
Moontrash's strategy is ok,however it doesn't alow you to edit dts sound along with the video part...
    Roberta,I mean multiAVCHD[editor+converter+menu].
    Have a nice day,

Can I hide or remove segments like I can in TMPGEnc DVDAuthor?

If so, I'll give multiAVCHD a try, although it looks complicated for a newbie like me.

    Don't be afraid,you'll need some exercise,that's all.Two months ago I was scared too,now I make my coffe[too] using multiAVCHD....
The answer 2 your question is "Yes".
As I remember You'll need to install first 2 free progr.:eac3to and tsMuxer [and maybe Avisynth]...anyway you'll be warned to do so..
    Good luck!

    P.S.A feedback would be nice....
