  1. I encoded the movie described above using TMPGEnc. Then i tried to make a Svcd using CDRWIN 5.0 but the resulting movie was not even recognized as a svcd movie by my Pioneer DV-250 dvd player. Any ideas?

  2. first, you must stretch the audio to 23.976 fps using goldwave or besweet. I have better results with besweet.

Then encode under the ntsc (film template). under the advanced tab, select do not frame rate convert. also use 3:2 pulldown when playback for the encode mode
