Cutting SVCD

Done loads of movies in the recent past, but have a problem now.

Got a movie which I converted to SVCD using tmpgenc and it seems fine. However, its too big to go on one CD. I'm sure when I did movies before I just loaded the mpg (after conversion) into tmpgenc tools and split it.

I can load it into the merge and cut, but the slider doesn't function.

Am i going crazy cos I was sure I've done this before!! What have I forgotten to do?

reply to my own post, but to clarify, tmpgenc will cut the files if I manually type in the start and end range - seems to be just the preview that aint working.

Try : File--->New project , and then try again Merge & cut.
