File Compression...

Hi, I back up my ps2 games on my HD and they range from 1.5 to 4.36 GB each. I have a large HD (120 GB) but so far i have like 9 games and its taking up 30 some GB. Is there any program besides winrar and zip that can compress much smaller?

With winrar i took a 4.36 GB game and made it 2.6. I'm just wondering if theres any other one which can compress more?

Use UHArc compression for high ratio compression ....also it is sometimes great for multimedia files. However it compresses only in solid mode (files in continous order in archive). Also note that uharc versions are not backward compatible.

I recemmend using winrar 3.0 solid mode + best quality options for compression set and recovery record. Never use winzip for large files.

:a - any DOS - DOS programs, will run under pure DOS or in a DOS box
:e - extender - DOS programs using DOS extenders like DOS/4GW or CWSDPMI
:W - windows - Windows95/98/NT/etc programs

If direct link doesn't work-most probably newer version of the program appeared
at the same site: visit web page, or read the whole directory from ftp server
(i.e. try the same URL, but without filename).
