What software you using to rip the sound out with? You trying to save it as ac3 or did you want uncompressed wave?

  3. Open the file VirtualBud and extract the sound by setting audio "Direct stream copy". Then go to File -> Save WAV.

Rename the WAV file to *.ac3

Open this in "Headac3he" and use this ac3 file as input.

Do i really need to rip the audio on an XVID movie though. Will tmpge enociode it right? HAHA,tried using nero to encode it and got up this morn to check it and poped it in dvd player, it worked all right but i had to hang upside down from my ceiling.

  7. I prefer Ac3Decoder to change from .ac3 to .wav file. Very simple and headac3he never worked for me. Found Ac3Decoder and downloaded it at "another" site that has movies. Works great.

Then you should only do those things if you already know the file is ok...
