  1. Whenever Im attempting to burn a DVD with Ulead DVD Movie Factory and I get to the step where you add the MPEG file, i open the folder, select the MPEG I want and click open/add, nothing happens. No message appears, no MPEG is loaded, it just does nothing. The MPEGs are all NTSC dvd compatible, but nothing happens, the program just sits there like I havent done anything.

  2. Try removing the program entirely and then reload. Also check the updates&patches from their website if uing Movie Factory 1

  3. How do you know the mpg's are DVD compliant? Are you rendering from TMPG, CCE or ProCorder using the proper template?
You could try re-encoding to a DVD compliant file using TMPGenc and entering it into DVDMF.
I haven't tried using DVDMF2 so I'm not familiar with it's options for input.

No. It must be according to the dvd standard, www.vcdhelp.com/dvd#tech . If not Ulead Moviefactory will reconvert to standard dvd.

  6. I used TMPG to render the file as DVD compliant, its not the actual MPEG, its the program itself. Ill check the patches on the website and see if that works but ill still welcome any other advice.

Do you have any other authoring software that you can try to see if it handles the file OK?

  8. No I dont have any other software like that on my computer. I downloaded the patches from the website, all of which did nothing. I know my MPEGs are ok because you can check the properties before adding them. Whenever I select an MPEG that isnt DVD compliant, a pop up box comes up and tells me. When I try and load the good MPEGs nothing happens at all. This sucks. (by the way, Im using DVD MF 1)
