  1. When I burn VCD in Nero, it creates PBC (playback control) -enabled disks, even if I don't enable menues in Nero setings.
Is there any way to turn PBC off in Nero ?

    Thanks

I don't know Nero that good (been a while since I last used it), but there should 'somewhere' be an opion to dis-/enable the PBC (see 'properties' of the CD to burn). Otherwise, check whether you can create a VCD1.x which always is without a PBC.
    SVCD must have a PBC.

PlayBackControl (PBC) is used for menus and chapters to navigate in-between them. With PBC, you can't use the "Goto" function on your remote. The "Goto"function on your remote is for jumping to a specific place unlike PBC where you can jump to a chapter or menue that was created.

  7. Most VCD authroring programs will by default create a VCD as VCD2.0 with PBC control. I don't believe that you can change this with Nero.

If you want to create PBC-less discs or VCD1.1 discs, then you will have to use VCDImager or one of it's GUIs.
