mov to mpeg2

hey, does anyone know how to convert mov to mpeg2? i tried tmpg, but the mov files don't open.

The Convert section says this:

To convert from QuickTime MOV videos you must download the QTReader.vfp and copy it to the TMPGEnc folder.

i did that, but the mov still doesn't open. do you know any other program that can convert the mov to meg2?

I had the same problem and now it works. Did you copy the file in your TMPGEnc directory?

I'm using TMPGEnc to do this, work great on small MOV files, but then I try on a 9 mb or bigger it only to about 50%. Then it crashes.

Does it convert in realtime?

I'm using a:
PIII 600
128 ram
TNT 2 grafick card
