  1. I realy like nero when it comes to burn cd, making covers and much more, but it seems to suck when it comes to making dvd videos!

I have read and heard over hundeds of people complaining over nero when it comes to dvd burning, but I have never heard some one complaining over record now max. I have tried 3 different versions of nero, but never been satisfied. The UDF mode seems to work on most stand alone players, but not all. Udf/iso and dvd video mode have faild on about 50% of all stand alone player I have tested. ( The orginal dvd are using Udf/iso mode, so it feels a little bit odd using only UDF!)

I have read alot of topics on this forum and some settings seems to work for some people, but not for others. I can't really understand why it work for some people but not for others, it seem to be very weird.

So for now i will give up nero for record now max and wait for nero to come out with a bugfree version and I hope it will happen soon, because I realy like nero.........

  2. i assume that you have the latest version of nero right? 5.5.10 or whatever. I haven't had any problems with udf/iso and my standalones, but I have only tested the pain in the ass PS2 and my really picky sony standalone...

  3. As I said I have tried 3 differen versions of nero(The new version, 5.5.8.7 and 5.5.9.17) and the problems using udf/iso remains. It work on about 50 % of the players I have tested(Sony, Thomson, Philips) but not on Pioneer, LG, Samsung and Freecom. On this player it's just give me an error like no disc or disc error.

At first I thought there was som problem with my burner(Philips) or the stand alon player, but after read about all this problem with nero, I'm sure it's nero that cause me this problems!
