The remote to the 1201 doesnt have a PBC button...
Is it within a submenu somewhere?
Thanks -
I have 2 dvd players, neither of which is an Apex...however both of my units default to PBC if you just push the "play" button on the remote.
I get around this by just pressing the #1 button (for track 1).
I don't know if that will help you...I don't even know what all PBC does...
but I do it because I like to see the time elapsed on the front of my dvd player, and the only way I can get that display is to work around the PBC by pressing the track number to start playing.
I have noticed that if a svcd is set up with chapters, bypassing PBC in this way also disabled my ability to skip to the next chapter. Regular fast forward still works though.
I also have some vcd's in which the first track is an animated selection screen (video) in which you choose the episode you want to watch. In that case, pressing #1 plays the intro video, but the episode selection no longer works. Pressing #2 will go straight to the first episode, #3 goes to the second, and so on...
