How do I do manuall letterboxing for 16:9 mpg (svcd)?
I have made the mpg (mpeg 2 ) files but when i play in dvd player they go to 4:3 because i havnt made the letterboxing?
how do i do this, please tell me the program used as well.

The easiest way is to use TMPGEnc - set 16:9 as the source aspect ratio and 4:3 AS the target aspect ratio - it takes care of the conversion.
Download FitCD for a program that goes through most of it.
Personally, I resize to 720 x 384 then add the borders back to 720 x 480 - this has about a 4% error.
