    I'm doing some work with a VCD File (.dat) in VCDGear, and I get an error:
    "ERROR: Could not find MPEG stream in DAT file"

    Also, I cannot play the file on my Hard Drive, or when I burn it to CD..

    What's wrong? Can I repair this file?

    IVE HAD THIS PROBLEM
    TRY PUTTING IT BACK THROUGH TMPEG ( IF THIS IS WOT YOU USE)
    RE-ENCODE IT I M SURE I HAD ONE LIKE THAT
    AND I JUST RE ENCODED IT

    TMPEG will not load .dat files.
