  1. Hi all, I'm trying to backup "Murder By Numbers" I first ripped with DVDDecryptor, demuxed .AC3 and .D2V with DVD2AVI, compressed video with TMGP, compiled DVD with Maestro.

When I played the DVD, the audio is a few seconds faster than the video.

It's like this, in the first few seconds, the "WB" logo shows, I think the audio is correct. Then the "This Motion Picture Is Rated R" screen comes up. There is no audio on the original DVD, but on my backed up version, the audio of the second "WB" screen starts to play. And when the second "WB" screen shows up, the audio the "Castle Rock Entertainment" (the light house screen) starts to play...

I don't have this problem with any other DVDs. Any suggestion would be much appreciated! Thanks very much in advance.

This is exactly the same problem as I had with 'Ice Age'.

"Found an easy solution - DVD2AVI allows the user to set the start & end points (rather like the MPEG tools of TMPGenc). Simply by setting the start point, using the slider, after the 2nd intro, I can get near perfect AV sync (as close as TMPGenc allows). "
