    Want to capture Avi virtualdub wont work,
    it says i have not capture card, i have been using
    powervcr but it will only capture in mpeg format,
    can some suggest a programme which will capture Avi?

    I'm assuming you have progressed beyond Win98? If so, try iuVCR or VirtualVCR.
