Hi, after making multiple searches, i'm just a little more confused... I recorded a video from a mini DV (borrowed), then I put it on a DVD (with DVD recorder). I converted it to a mpeg file and since DVD movie Factory seemed to be the best bet (because i want to add a slideshow), i tried it but audio format is not supported (i think it is AC3 from the mpeg file)

What would you suggest as a program or converter, please heelp!!!

    Thanks a lot

DVD Movie Factory should eb able to use the file without change. Have you tried importing the VOBs instead of converting it to an mpeg file ?

More importantly, how did you convert it to an mpeg file ?

I did not work from VOB files. DVD has been converted to mpeg from ShowBiz DVD, it plays fine on WMP and DVD factory's Player.
When file is inserted to create, DVD MF says "contains Dolby Digital audio tracks. DVD MovieFactory does not support this audio format. Do you still want to insert this video clip?". I demuxed the mpeg file, audio is AC3.
    Now what?

The thing is that i edited a full movie (w/deleted sequences) so I would like to work from this Mpeg file... What would you suggest?

    Thanks for your reply!
