I have been using CCE 2.64 to re-encode movies > 4.3 g. I have been using CCE in combination with DVD2SVCD which works great. The problem I have been coming up with is that I normally do a 3-pass VBR. When the encoding is complete, I usually have a combined audio and video file of 3.8-4.0 gigs. I would rather it be closer to 4.3 gigs (at least 4.2 gigs) so that I can maximize the video quality. I have increased the "CD size" option on the bitrate tab to 4350, but the re-encoded size didn't change. Is there a way to tweak it so that I can get much closer without going over? I know in other encoders I can use a bitrate calculator and can get VERY close, but of course it takes MUCH longer to encode. What would you guys suggest? BTW, I have been using the default bitrate options of "max" 8500, "min." 300, "max ave." 4500.

Thanks.
